Inclusion Support Services
This is a contractor position working with our Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County contract supporting the goal of building capacity for inclusive early education classrooms in Hillsborough County. The Inclusion Coach will work closely with identified early educators in the classroom setting to provide training, education, technical assistance and coaching. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, education, special education, social work or a related human services field and two years of experience in professional development. Applicant must have knowledge of adult learning theory, technical assistance, and coaching as well as early childhood development.
This is a full time position working with our Children’s Board of Hillsborough County contract providing classroom and family inclusion supports in Hillsborough County. The Inclusion Specialist will work closely with parents / caregivers, children and early educators through the modalities of providing training / education, technical assistance, coaching and parent education. Work is done in community based settings, the childcare environment and family homes. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, special education, social work or a related human services field and two years of experience in case management in early childhood. Applicant must have knowledge of early childhood development including strategies for working with children who demonstrate behavioral challenges and/or developmental delays. Knowledge of child observation, early education settings, family supports, inclusion services, and early childhood developmentally appropriate practices preferred.
